Photography Club

MISSION: “Our aim to promote and encourage the level of photography in the campus“

ROLE OF THE CLUB:

To promote the art of photography in the school, community and to develop the skills of the club members through hands-on experience and educational opportunities.

To engage in all other school activities in and around school, and take part in photography competitions.

MEMBERSHIP: Any person interested in photography may become a member by filling an application form that is provided by the club.

CLUB STRUCTURE

The club shall be headed by a Chairperson, also known as the Club President. He shall preside over a governing council made up of nine members, the vice chair, secretary, treasurer, public relations officer and five committee members each handling different responsibilities. These positions shall be open to all committed members and shall be filled through a competitive process agreed upon by the members. The club is also supported by a patron and a club coordinator who shall play an advisory role for the club and act as a link between the club and the school administration.

Club’s Broad Objectives

• To improve members’ photography skills through practical activities
• To exchange ideas that will make the club vibrant.
• To organise for sessions where members will interact with experienced and accomplished photographers nationally and internationally as a source of motivation.
• To develop responsibility and leadership skills among members
• To enrich the co curricula life of members through numerous opportunities for them to participate in inter and intra school activities.
