The school is a registered member of the Alliance Française library. Therefore we can borrow books, magazines, comics, DVDs and CDs.

The school makes visits to the Alliance Française at the French Cultural Centre in line with their existing programs for schools. These offer opportunities for the students to express themselves in French and to gain a better understanding of the French culture. Such programs c onsist of plays, movies and exhibitions amongst others.

There also exists a French club which provides the students with a forum to learn French through amusement. Members play cards, board games and are involved in competitions of completing crosswords and essay writing. They also access French websites online time to time. The school is currently in the process of arranging visits to the French school, in Nairobi. Lycée Diderot. This is to offer our students a further exposure to the French culture and language.

In addition to this the school organises inter-house school poetry elocution. While in the month o f November we participate in the annual inter-school poetry elocution which takes place at the Nairobi Academy.

We encourage our students to take up and learn the French language , which is currently very essential and an intergral part of our today’s world and society as a whole. Let’s learn French!
