CAREERS.
Being one of the most popular subjects in this institution, the physics department is highly equipped at this level in the preparation of the large number of students taking this subject in pursuit of careers such as aviation, engineering, Space science, medicine, teaching, research & technology e.t.c.
TEACHING METHODS.
In the achievement of its aims and objectives the physics department uses different styles in teaching such as edutainment, discussions, practicals, project work and field trips.
AREA OF COVERAGE.
The department thoroughly covers the I.G.C.S.E programme as specified by the edexel board and assessed through papers 1F, 2H and P3 for the outgoing year 11 and papers 1 and 2 for the rest of the classes leading to very good results. The coverage includes:-

3) Waves
4) Energy resources and energy transfer
5) Solids, liquids and gases
6) Magnetism and electromagnetism
7) Radioactivity and particles
FACILITIES AND RESOURCES.
Equipped with two state of the art laboratories with a prep room, a staff of four teachers and Osaka, a highly qualified and experienced lab technician, the department ensures that the students of physics are not only equipped for the exams but emerge with innovative scientific skills that they would apply in the course of their career pursuit as evidenced in the routine excellent performance of the Academy in the nationwide Annual Science Congress.
